This half day kayaking trip starts early evening as the sun begins to set and the temperature drops. We drive 45 minutes to Mae Kuang, a pretty lake east of Chiang Mai and set up the Oru Kayaks. These amazing folding kayaks are unique to Trailhead Thailand and are inspired by Origami with their folding design. We set off for a gentle hour cruise across the lake before setting up the BBQ and enjoying a light dinner as the sun sets over the horizon. As the evening approaches we kayak back across the bay to the pick up area where we pack up and return to the city.
